For the artichoke spread :

  • 120 g canned artichoke hearts
  • 1/2 garlic clove
  • 1/2 shallot
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp almond meal
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 sprig of fresh dill
  • A pinch of salt
  • A pinch of black pepper

For the bagel :

  • 1 bagel bread
  • 1 HARi&CO green lentil burger
  • 1/2 tomato
  • 1/4 cucumber
  • A handful green salad


Prepare the artichoke spread :

  1. Roughly cut the artichoke hearts and finely chop the garlic and shallot.
  2. Heat a frypan with the olive oil over medium heat and add the artichokes, garlic and shallot. Cook for 5 minutes stirring time to time.
  3. Add the artichokes, garlic and shallot in the bowl of a blender or food processor with all the remaining ingredients for the spread. Mix shortly until smooth. Don’t overmix to keep texture in the spread. Chill in fridge.

Assembly :

  1. Cook the HARi&CO green lentil burger according to the packaging instructions.
  2. Half the bagel bread and spread a generous amount of artichoke spread on both sides. Garnish with slices of tomato and cucumber, the HARi&CO green lentil burger and green salad.
